Volunteer to help make memories with the ladies at the YWCA. Date: Saturday, May 7th Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ​(YWCA guests will be present from 10-NOON) Location: YWCA | 322 East 300 South Cupcake Kits and activities for moms and kids in the YWCA multipurpose room. This project is open to anyone 16+ ages. Be prepared to serve with a smile and have fun! Absolutely no photos allowed at this event while YWCA guests are present. ***This project furthers our mission of raising compassion through service, by affording us the opportunity to work with those staying at the YWCA shelter, who have experienced family violence and may otherwise be unsheltered, without the support of the YWCA. The YWCA is Utah's most comprehensive provider of family violence services. Their programs include walk-in services, crisis line, emergency shelter, transitional housing, children's programs, and a other supportive services. In addition to offering services to families experiencing or fleeing from domestic violence, the YWCA also reaches out broadly into the community with offerings for every woman, including a nationally accredited childe care and early education center, leadership opportunities for women at all life stages, and opportunities to participate more fully in civic life. ​
