Need Help with Small Car Project

Long story short my cars exhaust was cut short, at an angle, and now the exhaust dumps right under my car... I have kids... I can't afford a new exhaust. So I want to take a piece of metal pipe that will fit the job obviously. Cut it accordingly, and extend the exhaust from where it was cut right out the side so it at least extends out from under the body, and stops fuming me out when I'm stopped at lights.... I WILL pay someone for their time, and help... This ghetto route is much cheaper, and doable compared to going, and getting an exhaust done. If you have ideas.... Or can help, PLEASE! CONTACT ME. Not sure what else to do. It's a Geo, so not worried about fancy. Just the function right now.
