The sounds of Spring with compositions by Mieczysław Karłowicz, Jan Sibelius and Max Bruch, featuring guest artist Fiona Shea on violin. Proof of vaccination and ID required for entry to RCC concert hall. Mieczsław Karłowicz - Serenade for Strings, Op. 2 (1898) - beautiful music you've likely never heard from a Polish composer who died tragically in an avalanche in 1909. Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26 will feature guest artist Fiona Shea, violinist, a young virtuoso talent from the famous Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. Following intermission, Symphony #5 in E-flat major, Op. 82 by Jean Sibelius will complete the concert. 7:30 P.M. Concert No pre-concert talk will be held before the concert. Parking is included with paid tickets.
