Description

Hello, I’m looking to rehome my 10 month old male great pyr (born may 30th 2021). His name is koda. he is unfixed, I’ve been waiting for a Voucher to come in to get him fixed for 2 months now and it still hasn’t come in. If it does come in I’m okay with figuring out a way to transfer it or give it to you. We we’re supposed to be getting a house in Vermont when koda was a puppy but plans fell through horribly and we ended up stuck where we are until probably next year. We don’t think he is happy at all. We are trying everything to meet his needs and he is making it increasingly obvious it isn’t enough. He has ALL of his vaccinations, we got them from shotvet and we have the emails with all the information. He got the “premium “ puppy pack and got all his boosters from his “breeder”. He is a very large dog and needs to go to a home with a large yard where he can have plenty of activity. I would never recommend a great pyr to someone living in an apartment. They are not small space pets. NO CATS. We have 7 cats and he is way too big to be considered “safe” around them. Great pyrs are guardian dogs and they love to bark. He would do best with large breed dogs if you have any pets. Great pyrs are not the brightest breed, actually they’re one of the dumbest lol so even though we have trained him since he was 8 weeks old he really isn’t that bright. He knows his name, he knows sit, laydown, paw, high-five, touch, the basic stuff but sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds for his brain to process it. He is crate trained and doesn’t mind his crate for the most part. He loves to sleep in it. He will come with everything you could possibly need for him too. If you’re interested let me know, thank you in advance. There is a REHOMING fee to ensure that he is going to a home that he will be cared for in! Thank you!
