Candlelit Yoga + Sound Immersion for Ukraine w/ Lana Vogestad and Joanne LiljeholmSaturday, May 72 - 3:30pm$40Location: Gallery at 3S Join us in the Gallery for an immersive and transformative experience combining a powerful yoga practice with a sound immersion in atmospheric lighting and soothing candlelight, that will bring the body, mind and soul into balance. The class will begin with an invigorating yoga flow linking the breath with the body that will revitalize and release blockages to quiet the mind and nourish the soul. It will close with a long, sound healing immersion with Gongs, Alchemy Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and chimes transporting you to a place of profound harmony and bliss. Lana and Joanne will donate all proceeds from this class to Save the Children: Children's Emergency Fund. This is the perfect treat for the mamas out there on Mother's Day weekend! All are welcome. ---- Details for the class: Masks are not required during your visit to 3S Artspace, but you are always welcome to wear one!All level practice.Bring a mat and water bottle. Mat towel and a block are optional.---- About Lana Vogestad: Lana Vogestad, E-RYT 500, international yoga teacher and visual artist, has been teaching yoga internationally since 2008. She has extensively taught in Iceland, the Netherlands, Atlanta, New England, as well as the Yoga and Cancer Program with Yoga in Action. She also leads numerous workshops and retreats each year. Vogestad received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and her BA from Bates College in Maine. She is the proud creator of YNDI Yoga, which is an internationally recognized yoga platform - yndiyoga.com, an experimental yoga and art space in Rollinsford, as well as a national television series on PBS. YNDI brings together all of her experiences as an artist, yoga practitioner and teacher, to connect and build connections with others. About Joanne Liljeholm: Joanne (BS, LMT, BCTMB) been a leader in the spa industry for two decades, and now enjoys the honor of maintaining her own transformational healing practice in Wells, ME. It is here that she weaves Sound Healing with CranioSacral and Massage therapy to address the roots of issues with her clients. She also still spends time regularly expanding the frontiers of wellness by teaching Sound Healing and Advanced Massage Modalities to practitioners throughout the country and internationally.
