Join the first annual "Duplin's Best BBQ Cookoff". If you can get down on the smoker/grill, come show your skills. Come to compete or eat! About this event The best BBQ cooks/ teams will go head to head competing for the title of Grand Champion. Categories will include: Best Whole Bird Chicken, Best Ribs, Best Whole Hog Chopped BBQ, and Best Turkey Legs/ BBQ. You won't want to miss this event as it is filled with music, games, excitement, fun, and the pure delicious aroma of fresh BBQ cooking. BBQ Teams interested in competing, please send your interest to [email protected]. We will send the rules and important information. From here you can send in your entry fee. Competition Categories: Cooks/ teams are encouraged to participate in multiple categories to accumulate points necessary to compete for the Grand Champion prize. To do so, simply purchase the tickets corresponding to the competition you and your team wish to compete in.
