Dismal Niche Presents electric jazz duo Anteloper (Jaimie Branch and Jason Nazary) at Stephens Lake Park 7pm / Stephens Lake Park $10-15 Anteloper is the electric brain child of critically aclaimed trumpeter Jaimie Branch and drummer Jason Nazary (Helada Negro, Bear in Heaven, Little Women) who have been performing together for years since first meeting at the New England Conservatory of Music in 2002. This duo finds both musicians moving between the instruments their known for - drums and trumpet respectively - and synthesizers to push further into spectral psychedelic territories. With deep rhythmic passages, free improvisations and effortless melodic negotiations, Anteloper pushes forward full horns swingin'!
