Interested in having a BIOACTIVE setup? Springtails are your foundation. They feed from the waste of your critters (reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians) and any other decaying matter within the habitat. These cultures are Proistoma Minuta Springtails. They have a slight blue-ish color and are great for our local bay area climate. These do not jump and cultivate easily. This is a clay culture, meaning that it is very easy to sustain and continually re-seed your habitat(s) through minimal maintenance. A spritz of dechlorinated water and a sprinkling of yeast once a week and you'll have a healthy, sustained culture. Rehoming fee of $15/8oz culture. Each culture has at least a hundred springtails.
