Nelly is a sweet and compact bicolored cow pattern American Pit Bull Terrier mix with an estimated birthdate of 04/01/2020. She came to the Mission as an owner surrender when her family could no longer care for her. Nelly is a cautious and unsure spirit who needs a soft touch and a little extra love to get settled in. She is known to be good with dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. She is crate trained and leash trained. She's learning to be more confident in public and more self assured when encountering new stimulus, but so far she's been a wonderful girl. Nelly is approximately 35-40lbs and would fit in well with most families willing to let her ba a consistent part of the family unit. She could be an adventure companion or a regular household love bug. She would also be suitable for small dwelling living with consistent exercise (tiny home, apartment, van life etc). She loves fetching and we are building up her drive to play as the days go by. Nelly comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, and possibly even a few favorite toys. She is currently located in Mead, WA and can be transported to you at no cost.
