RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Sunday for the 12th consecutive day, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $5.793. The average price has dropped 17.8 cents over the past 12 days, including 1.6 cents Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The decreases follow a 36-day streak of increases totaling $1.266 that pushed the average price to record highs. The average price is 10.3 cents less than one week ago, but 13.6 cents more than one month ago and $1.884 higher than one year ago. — City News Service
