BROOKFIELD, CT — Doctors and the government say you have to stay inside, and nobody is happier about that than your dog. If you don't have a dog, or feel there may be room in the homestead to foster or adopt another one, this may turn out to be your lucky day.
Happily Furever After Rescue in Brookfield has a line on Tito, a one-year-old, 30-pound lab/retriever mix. He was found as a stray in rural North Carolina, and according to Jaclyn Gartner, who heads up the rescue, he is ready to leave for Connecticut on Friday.
Tito "is a rambunctious and happy pup with a spunky personality," Gartner said. "He'd love to spend his days running, playing, and snuggling! He's a loving and playful boy with a good amount of energy, so he needs an active home that will be able to provide plenty of exercise."
The shelter reports that Tito is good with dogs, cats, and kids. His adoption fee is $300 and he will arrive up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If interested, email Gartner at [email protected].
