Homicide Charges Filed In Fatal Shooting Of Landover Man

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Homicide detectives with the Prince George's County Police Department arrested a homeless man in connection with the fatal shooting of a Landover man last Thursday in District Heights, according to a police release. Around 5:10 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1700 block of Berry Lane for the report of a shooting. They found Jawuan Ingram, 23, of Landover, Maryland, suffering from a gunshot wound outside the residence. He was pronounced dead on the scene. An investigation revealed that Dartangan Page, 24, of no fixed address, knew each other and were together inside a nearby home. While they were together, Ingram was shot. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident. PGPD charged Page with second degree murder, manslaughter and additional charges.
