Description
At around 1 PM on Saturday, April 9, I (asian female) was driving on the 210 East with my mother when our car caught on fire from a pickup truck that had dropped a garbage bag on the road. We were near the Seco Street exit (Lincoln Avenue on the west-bound side) when another car pulled up next to us and told us that our car was on fire. We immediately got out of the car, but I left the engine on with the car on drive.
Two good samaritans got out of their cars to help us. We got the contact info for one of them, but the other left in a hurry.
He was a persian/Armenian (generally swarthy) man in tan shorts and a beige shirt, with short brown hair, brown eyes, and no glasses. He was on the shorter side. He was driving a red semi.
He got out of his truck to get into our car (which still was burning!) and drove it to the side of the road. He also put out the fire from the debris and made sure that our car was ok before leaving.
If this story sounds familiar or you know a persian/Armenian man who drives a red semi truck who was in the Pasadena/Los Angeles area today, please reply! We would like to thank him for his heroism.
Also if you saw the accident and happened to take pictures or videos or simply remember more about the man and what his truck looked like, please send -- any info to help track him down would be much appreciated.
