Description

We are trying to find our blind German Sheppard a new forever home! We got him 3 months ago. Previous owners did not tell us he was blind. It took me 3 days to figure it out. He loves to chase a ball but I noticed he never looked at it. He also was slow going down steps. So I took him to two different vets and both said he has been blind since birth. 3 months later you wouldn't know he is blind by the way he gets around our house and yard. He is house trained and goes in his crate at night no problem. He is currant on all his shots but is not neutered. He will climb into a low car but gets really scared trying to get out. He barks at everyone he doesn't know. But 5 minutes later he won't leave them alone! He loves to chase a ball. Loves tug of war with his rope. Very high energy. He know sit, lay down and we are working on stay. He will follow you everywhere. We have no children or other pets so I have no idea how he will be with them. The only reason we are giving him away is because we travel. He will load himself in our car but won't load in our trailer. He needs a home where he play and protect with his family. Him and I are very bonded right now and I want the new owner to have that same bond. He has toys and and loves attention every night. He doesn't climb on furniture at all because he can't see! But he will eat a shoe once in a while if you are not on your game. He weighs around 85lbs. Everything goes with him harness leash toys and crate.
