Job Description: Laundry Agent Participate in the success of a vacation rental company who focuses on small details, cleanliness and customer service. You’ll join the team and participate in an important role ensuring the “back of house” runs smoothly. Being an “independent worker” is valuable as there are times you will complete your tasks alone. Top Line Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring our laundry items, primarily bed sheets and bath towels are washed, dried and folded. You will also be responsible for collecting and bagging the appropriate items a housekeeping crew will need to complete their next days business. Some evenings and weekends will be required. Deeper Dive: • On a daily basis, our housekeeping crews will bring in their dirty laundry to our office facility. You will sort those items into their appropriate bins. • You will be washing all of the items in our machines, on-site. You will check each item prior to washing for stain treatment to ensure each item is cleaned thoroughly to reduced waist. You will fold each item after being dried, “bag” sheets in sets and store them, along with the folded towels, appropriately. • You will have a list of homes the housekeeping crews are working on the next day or weekend. You will sort the linen needs of each of those homes, collecting them in their place so they are prepared for pick-up the next day. Final Overview: While not a technically difficult job, you are a valuable member of team and essential to the smooth workflow of our office. A positive attitude is essential as well as flexibility to ensure success. Employment: At will Pay: $15/hour (hourly) Hours: Full time (schedule set weekly) English / Spanish / Bi-lingual preferred
