Description
Catahoula leopard dogs were developed in Louisiana as herding, hunting and home protection dogs. The Catahoula community is a tight knit group, and well established in Northern California. While "spotted" dogs are the breed's flagship, the working lines are usually "solids," dark brown, black, brindle, Black and Tan, etc. colorations.
