BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Arts Commission will be presenting the 4th Annual Brookfield Creates Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival on Aug. 7. The event is 4-6 p.m. on the Town Hall Sidewalk. Rain date is Aug. 14. The free community event is open to all residents. Donations are welcome. Space on the sidewalk on the limited, so artists are encouraged to make a reservation by emailing [email protected]. All funds raised will go to toward future Brookfield public art projects. Artists may bring their own chalk, and plenty of chalk will be available. Social distancing will be practiced. More information may be found on the town website.
