I have a newer model Kitchen Aid Refrigerator, which has two broken wires at the bottom of the freezer door. Both of these wires need to be repaired. In order to complete this repair, you will need to completely remove the freezer door. The wires will need to be soldered and then shrink wrapped in order to hold the new connection. The model of the refrigerator is: KRSC503ESS01. The photos clearly show the freezer door and the broken wires. Please contact me if you feel confident about doing this repair. The job is in Davis.
