Irrigation Installer Stay Green Sprinklers Bozeman MT $22-$35 per hour, $500 signing bonus after 60 days. End of the year bonus. Experience is nice, but willing to train. 40+ hours a week. No weekends or holidays. Looking for a few individuals to fill my underground sprinkler installation crew. Your job duties will include digging trenches, attaching saddles, burying sprinkler heads, plumbing 1” poly pipe, laying drip pipe for trees and adjusting/testing sprinklers systems. Thought the season individuals will be trained to wire and install valves, hang clocks, drive the ditch witch (tractor) and nozzle. 99% of all jobs are located in Gallatin Valley. We mostly install residential houses and a few commercial jobs throughout the season. Most jobs only take one day. The digging usually is completed in the morning, each house has about 30-50 sprinklers. Each trench is about 1-2 feet longs by 4” deep. A good season for Stay Green is about 100 jobs. The right candidate will be a person who is able to come to work every day prepared, self-motivated, reliable, learn fast and have a good attitude. Raises come fast for individuals to meet said expatiation. This is my 15th year with Stay Green Sprinklers. Sprinklers suit me very well, I love being outside with my headphones in, working up a sweat. It's fast and hard work, but still awesome working outside with my dog. It’s also very satisfying to start with a fresh yard and by the end of the day have it irrigated.
