BROOKFIELD, CT — The school district has developed a new online tool to assist residents in tracking school based COVID-19 positive cases.
The new dashboard displays the number of staff and students currently in quarantine, and is updated weekly.
The dashboard breaks down the total number of community members in quarantine by school, and by the reason for their quarantine, whether they have tested positive for the virus or have been in contact with someone who has.

"Both of these indicators are generated from the 14 day period from November 1st - November 14th."
Brookfield, and around 96 percent of Connecticut's towns, are currently in the red zone, meaning that 15 or more cases per 100,000 residents over the past two weeks are coronavirus positive.
