Locally based hotel furniture repair company willing to train new crew members that are willing to travel to touch up and refinish furniture. Typical projects are 10-16 days in duration and usually one to two weeks between projects. Air travel and lodging provided. Our work scope ranges between basic furniture touch up, repair to spray refinishing. We use products that are mostly eco-friendly and green-guard certified in occupied major brand hotels. furniture is serviced in place/in room, so no moving the furniture required. however, some limited lifting is required to place drops under the furniture. Seeking individuals with some of the following experience: Painting and prep work Furniture repairs and refinishing Furniture touch up Spray finishing prep Auto painting prep and spray finishing (this skill is very compatible) Mohawk finishing training a serious benefit Job training is available for right individuals with a solid work ethic and willingness to work with little supervision and ability to be a strong team player. Must be dependable with a history of stable employment and ability to work well with others. Rate of pay varies based on experience and capabilities and ranges between at $1,200 - $1600. per week with supervisors earning as much as 3k. These are independent contractor positions can be on a permanent or seasonal basis. Permanent positions may be converted to full time employee basis. Out of state air travel is required.
