Description

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police Department is teaming up with SAVE animal shelter to host a community event for pets on Sep. 23, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Dogs and puppies from the shelter will be out in the park, so interested residents can adopt them. Officers and volunteers from SAVE will answer questions about each pet. Social distancing rules are mandatory. The police has requested residents to carry masks in case the turnout makes social distancing difficult. After last year's successful event, SAVE hopes to find more permanent homes for pets this year too. Location: Tiger Park, Palmer Square Date and time: Sep 23, 12 p.m.-2 p.m. Have a correction or news tip? Email [email protected] Get breaking news alerts on your phone with our app. Download here.
