Description
I have a 3.5 year old 7 pound Havanese female named Lita that is the most adorable, friendly creature you will ever meet she loves absolutely every living thing she has ever met. She is very energetic, completely housebroken and loves nothing more than being with her people... You might be asking why I would want to part with such an amazing creature... I adopted her when I was a truck driver, she was 5 months old. She traveled with me for 2.5 years and 330k miles and we are bonded to an unhealthy degree now that I am retired. While she is adapting to life outside the truck, she is not adapting well to me not always being within 5 feet of her... all day, every day, every night. She is completely besotted with me, but also requires constant attention, which I cannot supply to her satisfaction. When I leave her with others for a time, she doesn't have the same dysfunctional relationship expectations of them and seems to thrive with a larger family to interact with. Since I have been living with others in an intentional community, she has been very responsive to attention from others and seems to want a different life than I can now provide to her. She genuinely seems happier with other people yet her obsession with me causes her to never let me out of her sight while simultaneously becoming depressed when she hears others in other parts of the house; however, she won't go be with them unless I join her. When I join her, she snubs interaction with me in favor of everyone else, yet when I sneak away to let her enjoy their company, she immediately comes looking for me, then sits by the open door to where the others are looking at me accusingly. I love Lita more than anything, yet can't seem to make her happy. Her unhealthy obsession with me is destroying both of our happiness. I only want the best for this beautiful, radiant creature...ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ This is the hardest thing I've ever had to write in my life, I'm completely devastated, but know this will be best for both of us.
