Warehouse & Delivery Associates will report to the General Manager. You’ll work safely and efficiently to handle items within the warehouse. To complete this work, you’ll be required to maintain a work area that is organized, neat, and clean in order to safely receive and process freight, manage and move items, and load items. You’ll do this by moving boxes, crates, loose items, and/or pallets to and from trailers, storage, and staging areas using safe lifting techniques. This work may require you to safely operate equipment. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver items to customers and install them with exceptional and professional customer service. A uniform will be supplied to you, and you will be required to maintain good hygiene, particularly when delivering and installing to clients. The Warehouse & Delivery Associate will also update the Warehouse Management System and other computer systems and/or manifests appropriately as work is performed to ensure accurate item count and quality of product being moved to, from, or throughout the warehouse and to the end client. It is vital that you report to work on time and complete job tasks assigned by the General Manager accurately and on time. Please note job duties may change at any time due to business needs. The role is located in Marietta, GA but may be required to deliver to Greater Atlanta and across long distances. Responsibilities -Item organization and tracking as they move through the warehouse -Inspect items for defects or damages and thoroughly document any instances -Pull and check customer pick-up and delivery items -Maintain item logs and input items into the warehouse management system -Safe equipment operation, maintenance, and upkeep as needed, including vehicles -Routine cleaning duties -Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized -Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations -Professional, careful, and safe delivery and installation of items to the end client -Other duties as assigned by the General Manager About you -Customer obsession and empathy -Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment -A strong work ethic with an appreciation for reliability, accountability, proactivity, and integrity -Proficient verbal and written communication skills -Able to operate warehouse and delivery equipment safely -Able to safely drive a box truck or other type of delivery vehicle and possess a current driver’s license -Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs unassisted when necessary -Willingness to learn and comfort in using any necessary computer or app software needed for the role -Scrappiness in a new small business environment
