This will be long, so bare with me. This is the hardest thing to post.... I don't even know if there's a perfect home out there for her, but rehoming is better than the alternative. Joyce has lived in harmony with our pig for two years. But this past week our foster dog instigated a fight with the pig and Joyce jumped in. I don't know what made her do this. I'm so sad about it. She needs to be the ONLY animal in the home. No exceptions. I can't risk her hurting anyone. She has always been great with other dogs but I don't know how much I trust her now. She lost a canine tooth in the fight that is costing me 1400 dollars to go under anesthesia to clean out the infected area. So I was hoping to recoup a little bit of that cost. I started off with the bad news.... The good news is she is a seriously great companion... She LOVES to go camping. She doesn't require a leash. She will stay at the site. She has very good recall, (unless she sees another animal.) Other than that, if you call, she comes. She will sleep in bed with you. She LOVES car rides. Pulls a little on the leash. She is spayed. Microchipped. Up to date on shots until August. There WILL be a screening process. I will do references and a home check. I want to make sure she wont be used to fight anything. This is my baby girl. She is 4 and I've had her, her whole life. She needs someone who can maybe get her into some training. I'm asking 300 dollars since I have so much into her right now. But it will be the best 300 you ever spend if you are looking for a hiking/ cuddle buddy!
