Live music will delight your ears as you savor the meals. “Americans are very adventurous with ethnic cuisine from some parts of the world, but there is a lot of misunderstanding about African cuisine,” she said. “My hope is to demystify African foods and excite people about it. African food is flavorful, vibrant, and more approachable than people realize.” At the event, meat and vegan dishes will be paired with wine from Averill House Vineyard in Brookline, NH, while live music will be performed by Live Music by: A West African Group featuring music from Congo, Nigeria, and Cameroon “There will be plenty of food, and the atmosphere will be very comfortable,” said Djabea, who said she is purposefully keeping the menu a secret until the night of the event. “I’m hoping to attract adventurous people willing to try something new…I promise you will be surprised and delighted.” Vegan Options are available.
