This event will take place on April 22, 2022. Battles rules and registration info below. Invite goes out to all beatboxers and spectators! Minibar is restricted to people 21+ years of age (Valid ID Required). However, a minor 18+ may attend if they are accompanied by a legal parent/guardian during the entirety of the event. Elimination Round Each competitor will have 60 seconds to peform their elimination (or seeding) round in front of the judging panel and event attendees. You must purchase a competitor pass form this eventbrite page in order to submit an elimination round at the event. The judges will choose the top 8 competitors based on their scores, and rank them in order. The top contender from the elimination rounds starts as the “King". The rest of the top 8 contenders form a line based on their ranking, and wait for their turn to battle. The Battle The order of the line is based on the ranking of the elimination rounds, the 2nd place contestant battles the king first. Each contestant has one 60-second round, where the challenger always goes first and the King goes second. Whoever wins the battle gains a point and is now deemed the new king. The loser of the battle goes back to the end of the line and won’t be able to battle again until everyone else goes. The next person in the queue then battles the new King.
