Western Skies RV, northern Nevada’s fastest growing, locally owned, and operated RV Dealer is expanding and has an opening for a RV Porter/Forklift Operator to join our award-winning team. We are a full-service dealership that carries travel trailers, 5th wheels, toy haulers, truck campers and motorhomes. The Lot Porter position affords an opportunity for advancement into our RV Technician Training Program or other opportunities within our dealership. It is an important part of our daily operations and requires an individual who is self-motivated and can operate in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to safely and accurately tow, park, and back-up a trailer or 5thwheel into tight spaces on our property using company trucks, or to tow them to our storage lot, or special events, etc. Ability to safely move recreational vehicles about our property using a Forklift. Perform a “check-in” on new or used inventory to inspect for any damages or missing parts on new and document the same. Perform minor detail work on new and used inventory to prepare them for display on the lot. Maintain the proper order of inventory on the lot as dictated by a manger and ensure units are equipped with identification stickers and required paperwork. Perform regular housekeeping of the grounds to maintain a safe environment and professional appearance, i.e., trash removal, sweeping, snow removal. REQUIREMENTS: 1-year previous Lot Porter or RV Detailer a plus 1-year towing experience preferred Ability to use yard tractor and/or forklift preferred Ability to drive an RV preferred Ability to repair small items and identify problem units a plus Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record required Must be 18 years or older If you enjoy spending time outdoors rather than at a desk and a fast-paced environment this job is for you.
