Make a mini monstera sun catcher! Looking for something creative to do with your Saturday? Come learn the art of stained glass at Nickel City Wax and Wane. Taught by Mad Peach Glassworks, you will learn how to cut glass, grind it to size, burnish on copper foil, solder it together, and polish and patina a piece. This technique is known as "Tiffany Style Stained Glass", made popular by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 1800's. We'll be adding our own modern design to the art and each participant will walk away with their own unique stained glass monstera leaf. Many colors and glass styles will be available to choose from. What a fun way to spice up that plain window! Class length is approximately 2.5-3 hours. Please arrive on time. Class size is limited for individualized attention. Price includes materials. Feel free to bring snacks or alcoholic beverages, if desired. Wine and tea will be served.
