I have a female yellow crested cockatoo that I need to rehome. She has a great personality but bonded with me and seems to dislike anyone else so she would need time to adjust. I absolutely recommend someone who is committed and knowledgeable of cockatoos. I’m in no rush to rehome her, and want her to go to someone who is willing to keep her forever. I wish I didn’t have to do this but I’m left with no other choice. A little about her, she says hello, talks up a storm but I can’t make out the words. Loves to have a screaming match with my daughter. She doesn’t seem to be afraid of new things. She’s great around my dog. She loves exploring outside and is great on car rides. I haven’t had her very long, about 3 months and she got comfortable with me in about a week. I was told she’s about 2 years old. The vet said she looked great when I took her in to have her beak filed (it was long on one side of the lower when I got her) There IS a rehome fee. If you need her cage that’ll be extra as well. I paid a grand for it so I’m willing to let it go for half. It’s a brand new cage from Parrot Perch out in Vancouver. Text if interested. Again, I’m in no rush to find her a new home. I just want her to find a great forever home.
