PRINCETON, NJ — Author Alice Randall will discuss her book, Black Bottom Saints, in a conversation organized by the Princeton Public Library, on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Randall is the author of four acclaimed novels, including Pushkin and the Queen of Spades, Rebel Yell, Ada's Rules and New Times Bestselling The Wind Done Gone. She is a professor and writer-in-residence at Vanderbilt University. During the conversation, Randall will discusses her novel, which reimagines a vibrant Detroit in the first half of the 20th century, when the Black Bottom neighborhood was a center of African American culture. Randall is a native of Detroit and lives in Nashville, Tennessee. The talk is open to library members, who have to register in advance to participate.
