Join Us for our 11th Year of the largest Derby Day Event In NYC! Come cheer on your favorite horse, sip on some Mint Juleps and try to win our $1000 price by showing off your fanciest Churchill Downs-ready hat & outfit. This is the 11th year of NYC's largest and longest-running annual Derby Day celebration! Over the last decade, this event had the pleasure of taking place at venues such as The Gansevoort Hotel & The Public Hotel. We are excited to Partner with Somewhere Nowhere NYC to bring back this yearly tradition after our Covid related hiatus. This year, our beloved event will be taking place at Somewhere Nowhere NYC, located on top of the Renaissance Chelsea Hotel. We anticipate having the event across both the indoor portion and outdoor portion of the venue subject to the weather. Every year, we bring forth a new level of experiences and surprises. Some of them will be including over 2000 Roses across the entirety of the venue, a curated menu of light bites & cocktails, immersive experiences, NYC's best live DJs, live Jazz Bands, a special performance by a trumpet player, Burlesque Dancers & much more. Our two-level will have a different ambiance and entertainment experience depending on what level you chose to venture to. Purchase of Admission is highly recommended due to high demand! Derby Day attire REQUIRED, the best outfit will receive a $1000 prize.
