General Admission - $12. +$3 door COVID POLICY: MASKS OPTIONAL, BUT RECOMMENDED ABOUT THE ARTISTS Mirabelle Skipworth recently moved from Illinois and has played throughout the Chicagoland area as a solo singer/songwriter. Now local to Pittsburgh, she now plays with her newly-named, 4-piece band, “Mirabelle Skipworth and The Brink Of” (Made up of Terry Boring, Pete Bush, and Ian Green). Her folk-inspired melodies and lyrics with the alt-rock influence of her band makes for a dynamic, emotionally-intense experience. She occasionally draws on her own experiences, but often draws from books, concepts, and other people’s stories. Her album, Paraphrased in a Poet, was released Spring of 2019, her EP, The Catalyst Has Called, was released Spring 2020, and her album, Postcards From Patmos released Dec. 12th 2020. Her most recent EP, “The Tables Trill” released Nov. 12th. The Darling Suns is an indie rock band with folk roots drawing influence from the likes of Arcade Fire and War on Drugs amongst others; The band formed in early 2017 and built a following opening many notable shows in the Chicagoland area. With haunting yet beautiful lyrics about love, loss, and the human condition; the upbeat indie rock and folk melodies around them became a defiant and powerful way of delivering a message. The band released their first full length album "Midnight Feelings" in August of 2019. Later that year they released “Afterglow" which would become the single off of their 5 song EP "Better Off". Keeping the momentum The Darling Suns released their latest single “Fine” in August 2021 with plans of a bigger project in the near future.
