Communication Junction & The Place for Children with Autism Communication Junction & The Place for Children with Autism In celebration of World Autism Month (April), Communication Junction has partnered with The Place for Children with Autism to provide a free 30-minute Sign and Sing Story Time. Whether your child has autism, special needs, or you just want to come to support the autism community, everyone is invited. Families with children of all ages are invited to a sign language story time. We will be reading theme based stories and sing songs in American Sign Language, led by an instructor from Communication Junction. We hope to see you there. The Place for Children with Autism provides autism therapy (ABA therapy) for children ages 2-6 with a diagnosis of autism. Therapy is provided in a full day (8am-4:30pm) school like setting. The Place specializes in increasing communication, social skills, independent living skills, and promoting school readiness skills.
