House of Shine is a nonprofit, experiential museum of self-discovery, designed for visitors from age 5* to 95. Your free, timed-entry pass allows you to enter the museum for a self-guided tour.
Admission to House of Shine (and the Exhibit) is currently free due to the generosity of our donors. If you'd like more information about group tours (over 6 people) or customized experiences, contact us here.
Special Exhibit: Explore our first educational exhibit entitled, Life Maps: A Journey Back to My Twelve-Year-Old Self during your visit to the museum. This Exhibit explores how foundational moments and personal artifacts help narrate the life journeys of ten accomplished people in the community. Come see how the people they have encountered, experiences they have had and childhood interests have helped shape each of their paths.
Featuring: Samuel Barsoum , Animator; Leslie Mitchell, Lt Colonel, U.S. Air Force (Retired); Brad Uptmore, Southlake Police Officer; Traci Bernard, Healthcare Administrator; Lewis Johnson, NBC Sports Olympic Commentator; Magdalena Battles, Psychologist - Author; Gabrielle Madison, Corporate Social Impact Executive; Brady Clayton, Film Production; Thear Suzuki, Business Executive; and Jacob Miles, Engineer Entrepreneur Executive.
Children, age 11 and under, must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver at all times while visiting the museum.Museum hours are Tuesday through Thursday Noon to 6:00 PM and Fridays through Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
