HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A retailer on Revolution Street sold a $100,000 lottery ticket this week, according to the Maryland Lottery. The Havre de Grace man who won told lottery officials he "thought I was dreaming."
The 66-year-old man stopped at the EZ Quick Food Market in the 800 block of Revolution Street, and while he usually buys $20 instant tickets, the store was out.
Instead, he chose to play the $100,000 Extreme Cash game, which costs $30, and it paid off — he was one of three top-prize winners for the week ending Oct. 11, authorities reported. Others were in Columbia and Baltimore.
For selling a top-prize winning scratch-off, the EZ Quick Food Market won a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
