Looking for summer jobs? Volunteer opportunities? Internships? First Gen Scholars invites you to our Career Networking and Job Fair event! Join us on Friday April 22 from 3pm to 5:30pm for the opportunity to network with diverse organizations and secure meaningful opportunities! We will be having Senator Toni Atkins present for opening remarks and other panelists throughout the event. First Gen Scholads will also be awarding five $100 scholarships for students who register to attend (MUST be present to receive the award). Doors will be opening for students at 2:50pm and we will begin opening remarks at 3pm promptly. Students will be able to freely walk around the venue and visit the booths of all the diverse organizations presents, ranging from startups to big corporations. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the event until doors close at 5:30pm. This event is free to attend and no previous experience is required to obtain many of these opportunities. However, you must be at least 16 years old to attend, as many of the opportunities and positions offered have an age requirement.
