BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport Public Schools announced that it will go to full remote learning starting on Nov. 23. "We will re-evaluate the circumstances in three weeks and any necessary adjustments to our schedule," said Superintendent Michael Testani in a letter to the school community. "We believe this is the best decision for the Bridgeport Public Schools community at this time." All students have been provided with a device to engage in remote instructions. Teachers will report to school buildings to provide instruction to their students remotely. "The district is in a much better position than we were in September," Tesani The focus of our work needs to shift from daily operations to remote teaching and learning and the delivery of instruction to all our students. All schools will provide grab and go meal service daily. Winter athletics will be postponed and extracurricular activities will be virtual. Staff and parents should continue to report coronavirus cases to their building principal.
