He needs work! Not initially friendly to strangers, other dogs, cats, or children. Will gain trust & show lots of affection if treated right. You will need lots of patience! Not for 1st time Shiba owners. Might not ever become friendly towards cats. Not recommended for small children. He was a feral rescue. 1st year of his life was mostly neglect & abuse. I have tried to clean him up some, get him healthy, & somewhat socialized. I finally got him somewhat comfortable on a leash, few basic commands, & a crate. The rest is up to his true forever home.
