Dock Hand, Overnight Security, and Parking Attendant

We are currently looking for three different positions: 1. DockHand/Overnight 2. DockHand 3. Parking Lot Attendant Due to changes in operations we have three new positions available at a busy private club. Please note the majority of the job is outside and/or on the water. Although, Boat handling, mechanics, and knowledge of nautical terminology is preferred it is not necessary as we will train. Position 1 & 2: DockHand/Overnight Assist the Dock Master and Dock Service Manager with all duties regarding the club boats (sailboats and power boats), moorings, grounds and building. Please note that the job is subject to change as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change. Operate boat in safe manner whenever service is requested; respond to radio calls immediately and with enthusiasm. Complete a visual check on all docks; if there is a problem please advise Manager immediately Bathrooms clean- showers, toilets, stall frame, sink, walls & surfaces, mop upstairs and downstairs bathrooms daily, check toilet paper, soap and hand paper stock is sufficient. Empty trash cans before full. Hose down or mop ramp & upstairs and downstairs patio & stairs every Monday, Thursday and Saturday; or whenever floors are spoiled and/or when directed by Management. Pick up debris and take out trash. Make sure all water hoses are wrapped and have nozzles. Perform daily dock check list (you will be required to sign and date each daily list) Welcome new transients or permanent mooring holders in a manner which expresses a kind, courteous and professional character. Maintain and clean rest rooms, docks, walkways, ramp ways, grounds, equipment and other areas designated by the Dock Master. Maintain an inventory of supplies as needed. Ensure docks, equipment and facilities are operational at all times. Assist and support special events/activities taking place at the marina. Turn off all radios & batteries on all boats at the end of use/ days end Make sure all engines are out of the water at the end of days or usage Overnight/Security: this would be up to two nights a week and a fill in for when other security staff is on vacation. Walk property and docks Ride through the mooring field by boat on the hour to make sure there are no trespassers. Position 3: Parking Attendant- face of the club operations Manages parking facility and monitor conditions in the facility to deter inappropriate activity (parking without a valid parking sticker, double parking, minor fender benders, etc) Greet and assist members, directing them to the nearest open parking spots and helping them to exit parking facility Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized Monitor gated access Conduct rounds of vehicles and check current parking sticker Issue tow violations and call tow truck PLEASE DO NOT CALL AS ALL COMMUNICATION MUST BE DONE BY EMAIL THANK YOU
