Nahko is my foster dog. He is a Shiba Inu mix, neutered, currently weights 29 lbs. I rescued him from a kill shelter in Olympia. He was on the euthanasia list just because he is a senior dog abandoned by his previous owners. He loves humans even though he hadn't had a good life. He is the sweetest boy ever, easy-going, and loves other dogs. He is super excited about food. When we brought him into our home he was a skeleton, with no muscles, no fat, just bones and skin. He could barely stand on his own. Now he is a happy boy, sleeps a lot, and enjoys short walks with his dog sisters. I believe he would be good with cats as well. He doesn't chase small animals outside. Nahko needs a house with a yard, might be a small one or even a patio that doesn't need to be fenced. He just needs short toilet breaks and it's just the easiest and safest way to take him out. There is a $370 adoption fee as I want to make sure that Nahko goes to a family that can afford good care for him. I would be happy to answer questions about sweet Nahko.
