Description
Our three-year old six-pound Bengal cat (half leopard cat/half domestic) is missing. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty, neutered male, and just vanished about 2+ weeks ago.
He had been getting more independent and had discovered hunting recently. He was gone all one night a week before he disappeared and he slept the whole next day but now he is MIA. It is possible that a coyote or even a predatory large bird got him. Both of those are present where we live. He is not all that large and we occasionally have large owls around that hunt at night.
We filed missing pet report with Kitsap Humane Society and on Facebook right away but have had no results.
He is microchipped. His name is Seamus. He had lost his collar a few days before he disappeared and we bought a replacement collar/tag but he disappeared before it got put on him.
If you have seen a small cat that is medium brown/gold and has black circles/spots like a leopard please contact us.
He is missed dearly by his peeps, our other cat, and our dog.
We live on a steep slope off of Tracyton Beach Rd in the 3700 block but he could have absconded to the south or east over the crest of the hill which would put him in the subdivisions at Sulfur Springs Ln; Macarthur Ct; and Reagan Ave. All of these are streets accessed off of the west terminus of Sylan Way.
He is a unique kitty: likes high places, talks a lot making loud vowel sounds, smart, and is unmistakable as a Bengal breed. We check daily with the Kitsap Humane Society but would appreciate any leads.
Please contact us even if you have only heard a rumor of such a cat being seen or found (even sadly, if it is his remains that meet the description). Thank you.
