Woman Killed In Bridgeport Homicide

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are investigating following a Sunday evening homicide. Police responded to a call to check on the well being of a person located at 176 Goddard Ave. at 7:55 p.m. Police located Jennifer Brelsford, 40, dead inside the home with obvious signs of trauma to her body. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding Brelsford's death. An autopsy is expected to be conducted Monday that will determine cause of death.
