Description

Press release from City of Fort Worth: April 08, 2022 The City of Fort Worth is ready to lend a hand with your spring cleaning. Four drop-off stations provide residents a one-stop drop for everything from household chemicals to bulky trash and furniture to yard trimmings. Residents can easily access the drive-thru and dispose of items. Using the drop-off stations to dispose of televisions and electronics is a great way to prevent these items from going to the landfill or becoming part of an illegal dumpsite. When you drop off electronics, it ensures they're being properly recycled. Residents can also drop off tires with a limit of four tires every six months. Also accepted: household chemicals and products such as automotive fluids, all batteries, home and bathroom chemicals, lawn and garden chemicals, pool chemicals, light bulb and paint. The drop-off stations are free and open to Fort Worth homeowners Monday-Saturday. To use a drop-off station, residents must provide a recent Fort Worth water bill or current driver's license with a Fort Worth address. Renters with a Fort Worth address may use the drop-off stations for recyclables only if they present a current Fort Worth water bill. Locations: Hillshire Drop-off Station, 301 Hillshire Drive, Haslet. Brennan Drop-off Station, 2400 Brennan Ave. Southeast Drop-off Station, 5150 Martin Luther King Freeway. Old Hemphill Road Drop-off Station, 6260 Old Hemphill Road. Hillshire Drop-off Station, 301 Hillshire Drive, Haslet.
