Effective immediately, West 41st Street is closed from South Meadow Avenue to South Terry Avenue. Traffic is being detoured up to West 39th Street due to a gas main break. No estimated time on repairs.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
