Press release from The University of Iowa: March 31, 2022 A University of Iowa search committee has announced the third finalist for the next ombudsperson. Lon Moeller has been the senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since 2018. He previously worked at the University of Iowa from 2001-2018 in various positions, including associate provost for undergraduate education and dean of the University College for four years. Moeller will meet faculty, staff, students, shared governance, and campus leadership during a campus visit. Moeller also will participate in an open forum from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, in 2520D University Capitol Centre.
