Description
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Havre de Grace High School released a video Friday, May 22, to honor graduates. It showed memorable scenes like homecoming, the time the roof blew off the high school on Congress Avenue, which is now in its final run, and spirit days.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, students have been out of physical school buildings since mid March, and in-person ceremonies cannot be held in the usual manner because gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited.
"Four years ago, you became a Warrior by default," one staffer said in the video, "but this last leg of your journey has shown that you deserve the title more than any other Warrior to come before you."
Seniors in the biomedical sciences program at Havre de Grace High School were celebrated with a virtual capstone ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 22.
A digital commencement ceremony will be released for Havre de Grace High School at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 8.
Congratulations, Warriors, class of 2020!
