Press release from the St. Louis County Library: April 11, 2022 St. Louis County Library is launching a new, interactive experience for families called Explore-a-Story. The program invites families and individuals to visit unique sights around St. Louis County while discovering new books. This fun, family reading adventure starts April 15 and runs through June 15. More information is available at www.slcl.org/explore-a-story. Explore-a-Story passports are available at any SLCL branch, use it to check off each location you visit, or record your progress online at slcl.beanstack.org. Participants who visit five Explore-a-Story sites will be entered in an electronic raffle for a St. Louis Union Station Attractions gift card. Explore-a-Story invites families to visit 12 different sites around St. Louis County, including the Airway Drive-in Sign in St. Ann, Father Dickson Cemetery near Crestwood, Dripping Springs at Creve Couer Park, and Honoring Our Heritage Mural in Overland. Each site is paired with a book that relates to the theme of the location. After visiting five Explore-a-Story locations, participants will be entered into a prize raffle.
