I'm looking for ideas and maybe a business venture/partner. Businesses are easy to start but difficult to maintain. Most new businesses fail. Even successful businesses often struggle with sales or management.
My first business experience was as an investor/ board member for a small software company in the late 1980s (my most memorable contribution became a shareware game called "Meteor" which is now long out-of-circulation). Since then I have operated a RPG gaming group, managed a pet rescue organization, run a small printing business, co-owned a food delivery service, and owned an online advertising ad service. I also previously bartered website domain names, helped publish independent books, and assisted low-income individuals with criminal and civil litigation. Currently I operate a small network of internet servers and perform small acts of community assistance.
I earn about $120k per year. My kids have all left home and I am a widower, so nothing can distract me or "hold me back" anymore. Now I am ready and available to try new business ideas, or maybe help someone with their own.
I learned if you want to create a successful business, you have to sweat and bleed to make it work.
