I can do carpentry. But it looks like crap. I need somebody better. I need a very old door to be replaced. It is a wooden exterior door on an old brick house (1960). It is not a typical inward opening residential door. It opens out. This can't change. It needs to remain outward opening. It was originally a utility type door that accessed the water heater. Fairly fragile at time of construction. Now it is mostly made of dust and willpower. The door (and likely the frame) need replaced. I want a real door with a real doorknob and a real deadbolt. If you do a good job, I have several other doors that we can talk about. But, here is the kicker. I want this done in one day, while my wife is at work (typically between 0900 and 1400). Sort of a surprise thing for her. The best days are Monday, Thursday, and Friday. My guess is that on one day you will come to inspect it and come up with a plan.
